Introduction

This game is a facilitated decision-making exercise about information systems, social dynamics, and institutional pressure.

Players act as decision-makers operating within a shared information environment. Information spreads through platforms, communities form and reinforce beliefs, narratives take hold through media, and institutions rely on trust and legitimacy to function. Rather than modelling specific real-world events or political positions, the game uses abstract scenarios to explore how decisions affect system pressure over time.

There are no “right” answers. The game is designed to surface trade-offs, feedback loops, and cumulative effects, helping players understand how actions in one part of the system can increase strain elsewhere.

The game is suitable for learning, discussion, and workshop settings where neutrality and abstraction are required.
